Today’s daily writing prompt from the Daily Post is “If I could turn back time“
If I could relive a part of my life, it would be the elementary school years. Those were the careless, free days. School days were kind of like daycare. We would play many games, do fun activities, and get lots of recess. (I remember playing four square with a bunch of friends outside. I was really good at that game. XD)
We never had to worry about anything important. Our only problems were things like, “He budged in line!” or “She took my spot!”
That is why I would like to relive and cherish those first years of my life. No work, responsibilities, or worries.
However, being in middle school, I am still relatively care free. I’m not quite a young adult, or a small child. I am right in between. When I’m older, my opinion on this topic might change. I have many more years to go. 🙂
A beautiful sunset taken from a plane. I had to use an iPhone, since I didn’t have my camera.
I just put up my Christmas tree this afternoon. My mother and I wrapped it in lights, and hung special ornaments all over it. It gave a nice photography opportunity.
While driving to the airport, I got a few bokeh shots.
I finally learnt how to to take decent bokeh! It’s not exactly beautiful, but it’s a start. In the Christmas time, I am hoping to get some good shots with all the bright lights outside in front of people’s houses.
Last week, I spotted a pretty rose in my garden. I plucked it, and brought it inside. I thought it would look cool if I placed it on a mirror, and it looks like I was right!
This is the Photo-shopped version.
This afternoon I went outside with my mom and photographed bubbles. The pictures didn’t turn out too great, so I photo shopped them.
It’s a bunneh!!
A few days ago, I went for a walk in the prairie. It was in the evening, at the time of the sunset. I took this great picture during the walk.
Yesterday evening I visited the arboretum.
As I was trying to photograph a tree, while I was trying to get the lens to focus, I saw a bokeh-ish picture through the camera. So, I snapped a picture.
It’s not that good, but this count’s as bokeh, right?
Today I had an idea to put food coloring in a wine glass filled with water and photograph it immediately as it spreads to the rest of the water.
BTW, I have decided to stop saying “hello everyone,” at the beginning of every post. It seemed a little childish, so I’ve decided to just start writing from the very start of the post. I also am just going to type in my signature at the end of each post for the same reason.
Anyways, the pictures turned out really nice, and the quality and resolution was pretty good.
